Right-to-Know Requests

Beginning September 1, 2025, the Fayette County Recorder of Deeds Office will publish all Right-to-Know (RTK) requests and responses directly on this website to promote transparency and public access to government records.

In accordance with the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law (65 P.S. § 67.101 et seq.), these records will include:

-The requester’s name,

-The date and subject of the request, and

-The agency’s response and determination.

Personal contact information and any legally protected or confidential data will be redacted prior to posting.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to openness, accountability, and public trust in how county records are managed and accessed.
